Dottie Potts - My 600 lb Life Update

Dorothy Perkins aka Dottie Potts from Mississippi appeared on season 4 of My 600 lb Life.  When we met her, the mother of 2 weighed more than 600 pounds.  She had 2 boys, her son Daniel and her son Landon.  Dottie's husband, Chris Potts also appeared on her episode.  Daniel was born with cerebral palsy and Dottie was separated from his father.


Dottie was motivated to lose weight because she was Daniel's primary caregiver.  Dottie's current husband, Chris Potts is Landon's father.  Chris helped Dottie with the kids in the morning but then he would leave for work.

Dottie worked with Dr. Nowzaradan to try to lose enough weight for skin surgery but her efforts were derailed by a tragedy.

Sadly, Dottie's son, Daniel Ray Perkins passed away on April 10, 2016.  The following pic shows Dottie visiting Daniel's gravesite:

Daniel was born on December 1, 2002, with cerebral palsy (CP) and passed away due to the illness.  CP is a term used to describe a group of disabilities that affect a child's ability to move due to abnormal brain development, often before birth.  March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month and March 25 is National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day.

Deb Antney is the mother of five sons and three adopted daughters.  Her sons include Juaquin Malphurs aka Waka Flocka Flame, Wooh Da Kid, Rahleek Malphurs, Tyquam Alexander and KayO Redd.  Brandon Barnes is Deb's Godson.  She took him in and has played a major role in his life.  In season 2 of Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta we see Deb and Brandon working with Jhonni Blaze.

In episode 5 of Growing Up Hop Hop Atlanta's second season, "Bow Caught In Jhonni's Blaze" we see Deb try to help Jhonni get her life together.  She tells her that there's no problem in regard to Jhonni's music but Jhonni needs to get her behavior together.  Jhonni announces that she has quit dancing and is now focused on her music.

Brandon and Ayana Fite are cousins.  Ayana is the daughter of DJ Hurricane from The Beastie Boys.  Ayana and Hurricane also appear on Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta.  Brandon insulted multiple members of the cast during an interview and Ayana plans to talk to her Aunt Deb about it.  Here's the interview:

Rain Pryor: Was Richard Bisexual? Marlon Brando Gay?

Scroll down to hear Marlon Wayans' hilarious reaction to rumors about Richard Pryor being gay.  Quincy Jones claims that Pryor was bisexual and had relations with Marlon Brando who was openly gay.  Jones also claimed that Brando had relations with Marvin Gaye and James Baldwin.  Vulture was quick to get an interview with Jones after seeing his viral GQ interview.

Richard Pryor's daughter, Rain responded to Quincy Jones' allegations.  In the Facebook post below, Rain explains that her father was open about his life.  She discusses Pryor's relationship with a trans woman and says that Quincy is going senile.  While people agree about Jones going senile, many doubt that Rain would know if Richard had relations with Brando.

In Pryor's autobiography he admits to having a relationship with a transgender man

In Richard Pryor's 1995 autobiography, Pryor Convictions: And Other Life Sentences, the comedian admits that he had a two-week relationship with a transgender man.  He explains that he never kept the relationship a secret and even his best friend knew that he was in a relationship with a man.  Although Quincy Jones is losing his mind, he may not be lying about Richard Pryor.

Robert "Red" Rushing - Sports Manager, Toya Wright Baby Father

Robert "Red" Rushing is Toya Wright's new baby father.  In the video at the end of this article Toya reveals that she's pregnant.  Rushing is a 30-year-old sports manager who started dating Toya in 2016.  When I heard Toya was pregnant I jumped to the conclusion that Lil Wayne was the father.  A few months ago, the former couple was spotted spending time together.


Lil Wayne and Toya's daughter, Reginae Carter, would have been very happy if her parents had another baby together but it doesn't look like that's happening anytime soon.  Like Wayne, Red is a businessman.  The pic below shows him next to one of his 2commas book bags.

Robert Rushing Net Worth as of 2017: $3 million

Rushing's hard work is paying off.  2commasclothing and his travel company have helped him generate a net worth of $3 million.  Toya's net worth of $864,000 was revealed in her 2016 divorce settlement.  Since then, Wright has been putting in hard work so her net worth is most likely more than $1 million.

Rushing was born on December 15, 1986 in Atlanta while Antonia "Toya" Wright was born on October 26, 1983.  On Rush's Travel and Lifestyle Instagram page he states, "Others book travel.  We manage it." He has pictures of some of the NBA's best players including Lou Williams, Jarrett Jack and Tristan Thompson.

When you're a filthy rich professional athlete you don't hesitate to pay for convenience.  Rush has an impressive list of clients and his business will most likely continue to grow thanks to word of mouth.  I wish him and Toya the best and I hope he puts a ring on it ASAP!

Toya Wright gave birth to a baby girl! Her and Robert named their new bundle of joy Reign Ryan Rushing.  She was born on Thursday, February 8, 2018 and weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces.  Toya and her daughter, Reginae Carter posted the following pic of Reign's foot with an adorable rainbow sock.

Reign Ryan Rushing, Toya Wright Announces Birth Of Baby Girl

Antonia "Toya" Wright announced the birth of her baby girl, Reign Ryan Rushing on Instagram.  Reign was born on Thursday, February 8, 2018.  The pic shows her adorable little foot.  It's only right for her to be wearing a rainbow sock.  She was 7 pounds and 7 ounces and already has her own Instagram page.


Reign's father is Robert "Red" Rushing.  In episode 5 of Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta's second season, "Bow Caught In Jhonni's Blaze" we see Toya on the phone with Red.  Toya explains that her and Red have been dating for about a year and a half and they're super excited about their new baby girl.

Toya says that her house feels different now that her daughter, Reginae has moved out.  Reginae recently got a spot with T.I. and Tiny's daughter, Zonnique.  Toya is scared that living together will ruin their relationship but Reginae insists that her and Zonnique will be friends forever.


Sadly, we won't be seeing Toya and Reginae on season 3 of Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta.  They don't like how the producers edited their scenes with Deb Antney's son, Brandon Barnes.

Kandi, Brandi Dreier Twins Vancouver, My 600 lb Life Update

Kandi and Brandi Dreier were seen in season 5 of My 600 lb Life.  Combined, the Vancouver sisters weighed more than 1100 pounds.  The twins were 29-years-old when we met them.  Brandi was 587 pounds and Kandi weighed 604 pounds.  They were motivated to lose weight because they didn't want to lose each other.


Kandi and Brandi are doing great.  They are eating healthy and are no longer addicted to food.  Scroll down to see an adorable birthday post that Brandi wrote Kandi on September 26, 2017, their 31st birthday.

Thanks to the Assanti brothers, My 600 lb Life has a bad reputation when it comes to siblings.  The Dreier twins are nothing like Steven and Justin Assanti.  Kandi and Brandi supported each other.  On their episode, Kandi was rushed to the hospital and Brandi got very emotional explaining that she needed her sister.

Brandi didn't think she would be able to accomplish her goal to lose weight without Kandi.  They have never lived apart and truly care about each other.

The February 2018 Snapchat update was a complete fail! Users are complaining and some have even deleted the app.  The update makes it more difficult to access the Snapchat's best features.  Others are working together to do something about it.  The update changed the Stories, Friends and Discover sections of the app.


Snapchat is trying to survive against popular social media networks like Facebook and Twitter so you can't blame them for trying to make the app better.  Snapchat has to understand that the updates make the app worse.  It's all about listening to your customers and Snapchat must do so to maintain its popularity.  The company's Spectacles were an overall failure and this update is even worse.

The fourth season of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood was unforgettable.  Newcomers like Keyshia Cole, Solo Lucci and Zell Swag made the series more entertaining.  Chanel West Coast also made the show more entertaining.  She was one of the first people to recognize that Hazel-E was ridiculous and almost fought her on the set of a music video.

Tamlynn Yoder Fired After Exposing Church On Facebook

Tamlynn Yoder is the former Outback Steakhouse server who was fired after exposing Christ Fellowship Church on social media.  The church made a $735 takeout order and didn't tip Tamlynn so she called them out on Facebook.  Scroll to the poll below to let us know what you think about tipping on takeout orders.


Tamlynn explains that she has no regrets because she wants to increase awareness about this issue.  She says that this happens too often and wants to remind people that servers rely on tips for their livelihood.

The church originally called in a delivery order and when they realized that Outback was running late they sent a volunteer to pick up the food.  When the volunteer arrived, Yoder brought the food out to the car and the volunteer paid but didn't leave any gratuity.  Yoder got upset and posted on Facebook, calling the church out for failing to leave a tip on a $735 order.

One of Tamlynn's friends saw her Facebook post and called the church to complain.  The church claims that the volunteer didn't know about the church's policy to tip on takeout orders.

901 Shelby Drive Meaning Drake - Look Alive Look Alive

It's Drake season.  Area code 901 serves Memphis, Tennessee and a majority of its inner-ring suburbs.  Shelby Drive is a popular road in Memphis that used to be known as Whitehaven-Capleville Road aka Whitecap.  Scroll to the video at the end of this article to see Drake deliver some of his classic dance moves in the video for "Look Alive."


Fresh off his hit song "God's Plan"Drizzy continues to release quality music, separating himself from the competition.  The rapper, whose real name is Aubrey Graham is keeping it family first.  In "God's Plan" he proclaims "I only love my bed and my mama, I'm sorry."

Drake's collaboration with BlocBoy JB is a shoutout to his father's Memphis roots.  The Toronto rapper has made it clear that the 901 is like his second home.  He spent a substantial amount of time in Houston during the early portion of his career but he has family in Tennessee.  BlocBoy JB is from Memphis, the home of Drake's father, Dennis Graham.

Former MLB pitcher, Esteban Loaiza was caught with more than 44 pounds of drugs in California.  Fox News reports he was arrested in San Diego and he is being held on charges of felony possession and transporting narcotics with intent to sell.  USA Today explains that he was caught with cocaine and heroin.

Loaiza made his major league debut on April 29, 1995.  Throughout his career, he played for several teams and made the All-Star team in 2003 and 2004.

2018-Present


Despite being worth millions, Loaiza is facing serious criminal charges.  His bail was $200,000 and he's scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

Veronica Vega N-Word - Hialeah, Florida

Veronica Vega thinks she can use the N-word because she has experienced racism.  In episode 7 of Love and Hip Hop Miami's first season, "I'm Done" Veronica explains that Trina had her back in 2015 when she released her song "Pay Me." In the song, Veronica uses the N-word and Trina explains it's because she's from Hialeah, Florida.

Hialeah is in Miami-Dade County and has the highest percentage of Cuban and Cuban American residents of any city in the nation.  In the video at the end of this article, Veronica explains that people use the N-word in Hialeah, where she grew up.

Last year, Frank Artiles, a politician from Hialeah, used the N-word and gave the same explanation.  He was forced to resign.  In the following video, Artiles surprised many by apologizing for his comments.  He initially stood by his use of the racial slur, explaining that it was commonly used in Hialeah.

Veronica Vega is Cuban and Venezuelan but she explains that her great grandmother is from Africa.  Say what you want about Mona Scott-Young and Love and Hip Hop, the series is forcing debates that are necessary.  Prior to watching the "I'm Done" episode of the series, I had no idea that Hialeah existed.
