Empire season 4 starts on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.  The episode, "Sound and Fury" is actually the tenth episode of season 3.  The series took a break halfway through the third season.  This post features promotional pictures and spoilers.  Scroll to the end of the article to see the trailer.  Cookie and Lucious are at it again!


In episode 9 of Empire's third season, "A Furnace for Your Foe" Lucious ruined Cookie's relationship with Angelo.  The image below shows that Cookie hasn't forgot.

Jay Z Set to Produce Manuel Miranda Movie

Rapper, investor, and businessman ShawnCarter aka Jay Z is all set to don the producer’s hat with Manuel Miranda’sIn the Heights. The film has been adapted from critically acclaimed and commercially successful musical by the same name.

Hopefully it is better than Jay Z’smusic but that is another topic! The musical, which debuted in 2005, in turn has been adapted from Quiara Alegría Hudes book.


Well, it has to be better than Star Wars: The Force Awakens since that movie was terrible!

Lin-Manuel Miranda penned the lyrics and the composed the music for In the Heights.

According to leading media outlets, John M. Chu will be directing the film and the film production will start somewhere in spring this year. Insiders say that Miranda may end up in the film playing one of the important characters. In the musical Miranda played the role of the narrator Usnavi. Well this movie has to be more original than Jurassic World which was just awful, devoid of any new ideas!

Jay Z will be co-producing the movie. It is unclear if his controversial wife Beyoncé will be playing any part in this maiden venture for Jay Z. One of the most successful music artists, Jay Z, which is amazing because he does not have nearly track record of outstanding music compared to Ice Cube, Eminem, or even TI, has proven to be a stellar business pro.


He has launched several businesses that includes – music studios, a clothing line, a talent management company, video games, and music streaming service, all with a fair amount of success. His business acumen far exceeds his rap skills!

The Little Boy From 'Soul Food' Is All Grown Up! & He's Kinda Fine

Everyone remembers the 1997 Black family film, Soul Food. Set in Chicago, the movie follows the Joseph sisters, Bird, Teri and Maxine and their family during the aftermath of their mama's death. The film centers around, Ahmad (Brandon Hammond), Maxine's 11-year old son who tries to hold the family together during all the trial and tribulations.


The film starred, Nia Long, Vanessa Williams and Vivica Fox and it was so popular that Showtime did a television spin-off Soul Food the series which premiered three years after the film's release.


A lot has changed in the 20 years since Soul Food first debuted. Brandon Hammond is now a 33-year old Grown AF MAN with a full beard and nose ring, and we are here for it.



After Soul Food, Hammond went on to star in The Gregory Hines show. When the TV series premiered in 2000, Hammond was a bit too old to reprise his role so, Aaron Meeks took over the role of Ahmad. Hammond went on to make guest appearances on The West Wing and other TV series. However, since 2006, he's most stayed out of the spotlight.

We live for Uncle Joe Biden. He always held President Barack Obama down, and he told people exactly how he felt about them even when our beloved POTUS Barack could not. Therefore, we were a bit sad when Joe Biden announced he would not be running for President in 2016. He'd had a super rough year when he lost his eldest son Beau Biden to brain cancer in 2015, so we understood that he needed a break.


Just like President Obama and our First Lady Michelle, we were expecting our former VP to be maxin' and relaxing and enjoying his freedom. Unfortunately, it looks like Uncle Joe's family is not about to let him live in peace.

Yesterday Page Six reported that Joe Biden's youngest son, Hunter Biden is now dating his late son's widow, Hallie Biden, BLEEECHHHHH!!!

Now, we're sure that the former VP Joe is just as alarmed by this news as we are, but in an effort to save face, he and his wife Jill threw their support behind their son and daughter-in-law saying,

"We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support, and we are happy for them.”

We're sorry but, nah!

Hunter released his own statement as well,

“Hallie and I are incredibly lucky to have found the love and support we have for each other in such a difficult time, and that’s been obvious to the people who love us most. We’ve been so lucky to have family and friends who have supported us every step of the way.”

Listen, grief is a horrible thing to deal with, but turning to your loved ones in this particular manner is NOT OK. By the way, Hunter is still married, he's just separated from his wife. Something in the milk ain't clean! There are billions of people on this planet, and you decide to turn to your dead brother's wife?!! Nah.

We can't help but think how confusing this must be for Hallie and Beau's children.  Are they now supposed to call Hunter, Uncle Daddy now?!

Dave Chappelle's new Netflix special just got a premiere date, and it's much sooner than any of us expected!

The new original stand-up comedy special which will be directed by Stan Lathan (Sanaa Lathan's dad), is set to hit Netflix on March 21, 2017! Yup, we will be getting all-new Chappelle in just a few short weeks.

This new special was filmed at Austin City Limits and The Hollywood Palladium and are some of Chappelle’s first concert specials in 12 years. They will be released simultaneously, along with two additional never-before-seen specials from Chappelle's personal comedy vault.


Netflix VP of Original Documentary and Comedy Lisa Nishimura said in a statement, "Dave Chappelle is a legendary voice in comedy — searing, vital, and now more than ever, essential. Dave’s three new specials promise to be some of the most anticipated events in comedy, and we are honored he will mark his global return on Netflix.”

After stepping away from the spotlight when he walked away from his critically acclaimed Chappelle's Show in 2006, Chappelle began touring again in 2014. In the past three years, he's performed at over 500 concerts  When he came back in 2014, Chappelle sold out ten consecutive comedy performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York City; something that has never been done before us.

Jennifer Aniston is currently happily married to Justin Theroux. Dr. Miami and Nicki Minaj's butt beef is heating up on Twitter.  The plastic surgeon, whose real name is Michael Salzhauzer is a marketing genius.  He recently appeared on an episode of Black Ink Crew.  Sky makes an appointment with the doctor during a trip to Florida.  Last week, one of the doctor's employees sent a tweet calling Nicki out for ignoring Remy Ma's "shETHER."


In the tweet below, one of Dr. Miami's employees brings up Nicki's 2015 tweets to the doctor.  Dr. Miami had a picture of Nicki in his office that was signed.

Why won't Facebook load on my iPhone? Try deleting the app from your device and then downloading it again.  If that doesn't work, Facebook could be updating the app.  Many of my friends told me that they were also experiencing problems with Facebook on their iPhones.  If you want to make sure it's not your device try resetting your settings.


Follow the steps below to reset your settings:

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap Reset
  4. Tap Reset All Settings

After you reset your iPhone's settings, turn it off and then turn it back on.

If the above steps don't work you could try to reset your network settings.  Select Settings, then General.  Select Reset and then select Reset Network Settings.

Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer.  She's best known for winning season 20 of Dancing With the Stars.  She was born on August 16, 1988 and is currently 28-years-old.  Promotional photos from the next episode of the series shows her alongside Jussie Smollett aka Jamal Lyon.


Jamal and Tory meet each other in rehab.  Like Jamal, Tory is a musician.  We're hoping she'll help him get over his PTSD.  Cookie called Kitty aka Mariah Carey to help Jamal but it didn't work.  Jamal continues to battle addiction and his relationship with Lucious continues to worsen.

Is Tara Wallace pregnant with Peter Gunz's baby again? 2017 Instagram pictures of the reality star have suggests that she may have a bun in the oven.  While she didn't look like she was pregnant at the Love and Hip Hop reunion but the pic in the video shows her with a stomach full of baby.  Peter declared that his baby with Amina Buddafly was his last but we've heard it all before.


Peter Gunz somehow fell back in love with Tara while Amina was pregnant with his most recent baby.  Although Tara didn't seem to be falling for more of Peter's lies, she didn't shut him down like she should have.  He has made her and Amina look like complete fools.  Peter still had the nerve to try to get her back.

Amina spilled Peter's tea at the reunion.  Yes, Peter Gunz still has tea to be spilled.  Amina revealed that her and the reality star are still sleeping together.  Peter denied it but we all know he's a liar.

Cisco gave Peter a check during the reunion episode.  As soon as Peter received the check he gave it to Tara.  Amina has multiple children with Peter therefore there's no reason for her to lie about the last time they had sex.  She was most likely telling the truth.  Peter is still a confused, horrible man.  He should never get married again.

Peter is still trying to convince Tara that he has changed yet he continues to have sex with Amina.  We're hoping someone new is responsible for Tara's baby bump.  Peter put her through the most and she deserves better.

What Happened To Fernando Torres?

Although Fernando Torres has suffered a head injury during a match, he is in the hospital and doctor’s say he is stable and conscious now.  The soccer player left fans in shock after falling very hard.  The video at the end of this article shows the horrific incident.

According to reports, on March 3, Torres was playing a match against Deportivo and ended up falling down heavily while he was on an 85th aerial challenge with Alex Bergantinos.

Nothing to worry about though, although he fell hard, CT scans showed that he has no serious head injuries. Thank goodness! However, he will remain in the hospital under a doctor's care for now.
According to the Spain native, 32-year-old Torres, he released a statement saying that although it was scary, he hopes to come back to playing very soon!


Everyone, including the coach, was very worried about Torres but are now relieved he has had no serious head injuries and will be fine.

The coach was worried and scared for Torres because he fell so hard that they heard the blow from the bench, saw him fall hard, and didn’t know if the noise from it was his neck or not.

Atletico ended up finishing the game after this happened with Torres but was very worried and scared for him as well. However, he did finish the game with 10-men, including the three substitutes.

"Back To Back" was a classic diss track.  The beat was on point and Drake's timing was on another level.  "Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers." Drizzy mentions Michael Jordan, Charlamagne and more using creative metaphors.  The track's catch hook is another reason it's one of the best diss tracks of all-time.

Samantha Lee Schwalenberg is now Samantha Lee Gibson.  Her parents are African-American, Jamaican and Ecuadorian.  The following tweet explains that we can't consider former President, Barack Obama black if Sam's not black.


Barack's father is black but his mother is Irish, German, Scottish, Welsh, Swiss-German and French aka white.  Obama is multiracial yet we didn't hesitate to call him our first black president.


The following tweet claims that Tyrese insulted African-American women by calling Sam a #BlackQueen.


This debate is about how much many people dislike Tyrese Gibson.  The singer and actor plays Pastor Bobby Harris on the Star TV show and the role matches his personality perfectly.  Tyrese is constantly sharing life lessons on social media.  He's passionate and unapologetic about his beliefs.

Like many pastors, Tyrese makes you feel guilty when you disagree with him.  It's his way or the highway.  Long story short: Tyrese Gibson is annoying.  He's a know it all.  He makes people want to argue with him, explaining the response to his "Black Queen" comments.

Tammy Rivera is pregnant by Waka Flocka.  The reality stars are expecting their first child together.  She's due in September 2017.  The couple has been through it all.  Waka Flocka has cheated on Tammy multiple times, leading to an emotional breakup.  After their split Waka went hard on social media and Tammy eventually forgave him for cheating on her.


Tammy has a daughter from a previous relationship.  Waka treats Tammy's daughter like he's her biological father.  Despite the rapper's past mistakes, he's a good man.  The way that he has embraced Tammy's daughter proves that he'll be a good father.  Season 6 of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta will show Tammy and Waka continue to work on their marriage.

Season 6 of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta will show Tammy and Waka working on their marriage.  Waka can learn a valuable lesson from his #LHHATL co-star, Kirk Frost.  The super trailer below shows Rasheeda attack Kirk for cheating on her and having a baby with his side chick:


In the video above, Waka Flocka pours his heart out to Tammy.  Waka tells Tammy he misses her, the dog, their daughter, Charlie and marriage life.  Waka's mom, Debra Antney tells her son to practice patience.

Deb explains that Tammy is hurting so Waka can't expect to show up with his suitcase and apologize.  Tammy needs some time to think about what she wants.  When Waka cheats on Tammy it impacts the couple's entire family.  Charlie will lose respect for Waka if he continues to disrespect her mom.

Tammy is very close to Deb but Waka makes it difficult for his mother and wife to maintain an honest relationship.  Now that the rapper has a baby on the way he needs to clean up his act.  The trailer shows Tammy preparing for a date and Waka can't get upset if she went out with another man.  Rivera explains that the separation is about teaching Waka a lesson.

Prayers Up! Chris Brown Is Allegedly Battling A Cocaine, Xanax, Molly & Lean Addiction

It's been clear for some time that something is not right with Chris Brown. His downward spiral began when he brutally beat his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and has continued through his incarceration and most recently his death threats and physical abuse allegations against his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran who had to get a restraining order against Brown for her own safety.

In an exclusive story published by Billboard, former and current employees and friends of the artist are alleging that Chris Brown is battling much more than anger issues and violent tendencies.

Billboard writes, "Empty Styrofoam cups littered the table, a sign that Brown -- who hadn’t been taking his medication for the bipolar II condition he had been diagnosed with in 2014 -- had likely also been sipping lean (a mixture of promethazine/codeine syrup and a soft drink), his comedown of choice after a coke or Molly binge."

The article also describes how Brown obsesses over Tran's whereabouts. He scrolls through her Instagram constantly looking for clues about where she's been recently, who she was with, and what pictures and stories she's commented on or liked.



Unfortunately, according to the sources who spoke to Billboard, Brown does not think he has a problem. When friends and family try and speak to him about his drug use, "He will cuss you out and say, 'Hey, man, I'm functioning. I'm going to get the workout.'

One current member of Brown's team spoke to the magazine saying he's not, "the first functional star who thinks they can handle those powerful drugs. I got to say with all my heart, he's dancing with death."

For the sake of his small daughter Royalty, we sincerely hope that Chris Brown gets the help he needs.

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta fan, Nicki Minaj will definitely have plenty to say about Kirk Frost this season.  In the super trailer at the end of this post, we see Kirk's wife, Rasheeda calling him out for cheating.  The tweets below show that Nicki has been calling Kirk out for years.  In 2013, we watched Kirk break Rasheeda's heart and Nicki wasn't having it.


Nicki calls Kirk out for making Rasheeda look like an idiot after 15 years of marriage.  No child wants to hear about their father cheating on their mother.  Nicki's ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, put her through a similar situation.  Meek Mill informed Nicki that Safaree was cheating on her.  Nicki dumped Safaree and started dating Meek.

Safaree appeared on Love and Hip Hop Hollywood's third season.  He was in a relationship with Nikki Mudarris but she cheated on him with Rosa Acosta.  Karma is real.  Those who hurt others end up getting hurt.


In the tweet below, Nicki calls Kirk out for disrespecting Rasheeda.  We're hoping she calls him out this season.  We're not sure why Rasheeda didn't leave Kirk a long time ago.


Nicki is about that life when it comes to standing up for women.  She dares Kirk to say the situation isn't her business considering the fact it's on VH1.


While Nicki was more than willing to speak out against Kirk, the Young Money rapper doesn't want anything to do with Remy Ma.  Beefing with Remy Ma will only benefit Remy Ma's career.  Nicki is on another level and doesn't have time for Remy's child play.

Miyha "Lovely Mimi" Thi Luong is seen in the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta super trailer at the end of this article.  The social media star is seen meeting with Joseline Hernandez.  While she gets along with Joseline, Karlie Redd is not feeling Lovely Mimi.  Karlie calls her a clown and says she needs to go back to the circus.

Mimi is one of the most popular nail technicians in the world, explaining her relationship with Joseline.  She also knows how to turn up.  The incident described below occurred in 2016.  The reality has been working on her music career and she hosts parties around the world.  We can't wait to see her on season 6 of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

The Asian Mimi drops N bombs and a group of people tried to drop her.  Myha Luong is a popular Vietnamese nail artist who is best known by her stage name, Lovely Mimi.  She represents the DMV and went from a high school dropout to one of the most popular nail stylists in the world.  Her hard work has earned her a role on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta season 6.


The video towards the bottom of this post shows Mimi discussing the use of the N word.  She was beat up after she used the word so she apologizes and explains herself.  Mimi is from a predominantly black area so she doesn't think her use of the word is a problem.  She says she will stop using the word in her videos.

Mimi's African American boyfriend is seen in the background, while she apologizes.  Dating a black male could be one of the reasons she thought she could say the word.  After her apology, a video she recorded earlier is shown.  Mimi explains that she was jumped by 7 people.  She points to her face to show that she is still flawless.

William Sheeran, Nancy Mulligan--Ed Grandparents and Parents

Ed Sheeran’s new album is out and it is a great one where he goes back to his Irish roots. It is called Divide and this is his first full album he has released since 2014. Everyone has been eagerly waiting for this new album and after weeks of eager anticipation, it has finally been released to the public. 

You can imagine how happy this has made everyone. He sure has a lot of fans!

Many people are tweeting their feelings about the new album. Why? Because not only has it been his first full album release in the last three years, but the songs on the album, especially ‘Galway Girl’ and ‘Nancy Mulligan’ tell stories of how his parents and grandparents fell in love.
