Ryan Destiny and Quincy Brown are stealing our hearts on Star! Ryan plays Alexandra "Alex" Crane while Quincy plays Derrick Jones, Carlotta's next door neighbor.  Lee Daniels is a matchmaker! Empire introduced us to Tiana and Hakeem aka Takeem along with Trai Byers and Grace Gealey aka Trace.


We can't give Daniels the credit for Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard's on-screen relationship.  Long before Empire there was Hustle and Flow.  We can give Daniels the credit for Derrick and Alex aka Dalex.  The couple's new love is already #RelationshipGoals! Derrick is on a mission to change the world while Alex plans to use music to conquer it.

The couple's relationship reminds us of Empire.  Lee Daniels used music, drama and Cookie Lyon to change television forever.  You know what they say: Once you go black, you don't go back! Empire paved the way for several television shows, including Blackish and the FX series, Atlanta.

Empire also paved the way for Star.  Lee Daniels proved himself and now he holds a substantial amount of power at Fox.  He recently announced that he's working on the Empire spinoff which will feature Cookie Lyon!

Jamila Velazquez - Chicago PD, Emily Vega

Jamila Velazquez made an appearance on Chicago PD.  The actress, who played Laura Calleros on Empire, most likely won't make any future appearances on the Fox series.  We last saw Laura in the season 2 finale when she left Hakeem at the altar.  The series moves fast and old characters typically don't reappear.


Like Hakeem's other former love interest, Valentina Galindo (Becky G) aka Guadalupe, Laura will be missed.  In Chicago PD season 4, episode 11, "You Wish" she plays Emily Vega, a teen with a minor record.  She has been arrested several times and she's struggling with a drug addiction.  A witness sees her run away from a crime scene and throw a knife in the bushes.

She tries to run from Kim and Alvin but she's unable to get through a locked fence.


She learned a thing or two from the Lyon family.  Investigators question her about the knife she threw into the bushes and she tells them that she lost it a few days prior.



The blade was used to kill a man so Emily is forced to tell the truth.  Jamila reminds us how talented she is in the emotional scene.  She explains that the man tried to rape her.  "What goes around, comes around."

Mendeecees - Early Release?

Mendeecees Harris' lawyers are fighting for an early release.  He was sentenced to 8 years behind bars but his attorney is arguing that his sentence should be reduced because he transported drugs yet he never sold them.  Harris was far from a drug kingpin instead, he was a middle man.  Harris has been labeled a snitch in the past, but him and Yandy Smith denied rumors that he was telling on his crew.


Harris is scheduled to be released on November 28, 2020.  The 38-year-old has four children.  His baby mamas, Yandy, Samantha and Erika, have been acting out since he's been locked up.  In the last episode of Love and Hip Hop, we see one of Samantha's friends tell Yandy that Samantha and Erika have been trying to ruin her union with Mendeecees.

The United States is becoming Hollyweed.  Marijuana laws are becoming more reasonable but Mendeecees was transporting more than marijuana.  He was caught trafficking heroin and cocaine.  Moreover, this wasn't a one-time incident.  The feds traced the illegal activity for 7 years.  The government presented a solid case against Mendeecees therefore it will be difficult for him to have his sentence reduced.

Do the crime, do the time.  Mendeecees' attempt to have his sentence reduced is desperate.  If he doesn't learn to practice patience, his sentence will feel longer than it actually is.

Moniece Slaughter discusses Tank and Zena Foster in her recent interview with All Def Digital.  Scroll to the end of this post to see the interview.  We recently found out about Moniece's relationship with Shaquille O'Neal and now she's airing out Tank.  Slaughter reveals that she was only 19-years-old when she dated Tank.


Moniece explains that her mistakes were the result of immaturity.  She calls Tank out for being 40 when they dated.  The singer turned 41 on January 1 therefore he was in his 30s when he dated Moniece.  Shaq is 44 so the age difference between Shaq and Moniece was greater than the age gap between her and Tank.

Moniece didn't only call Tank out for being an old head, she also claimed that he cheats on his girlfriend, Zena Foster.  Slaughter reveals that Zena has cheated on Tank with rapper, The Game.  Moniece is a drama queen but sometimes her stories are true.  Slaughter spilled Brandi Boyd's relationship tea during the last season of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood and some of it turned out to be true.

Moniece recently appeared on Love and Hip Hop New York where she called out her former boyfriend, Rich Dollaz.  When does Moniece Slaughter find time to be a good mother? Now we see what Fizz was talking about.

Michelle Ghent - Terrence Howard Wife, Miranda Pak

Terrence Howard's ex-wife, Michelle Ghent, dropped the assault lawsuit she filed against the Empire star.  Howard was married to Ghent from 2010 to 2013.  After they divorced, Howard married his current wife, Miranda "Mira" Pak.  In December 2011, Ghent filed for a restraining order against Howard.


In the restraining order, Ghent claimed that Howard physically abused her.  Michelle then sued Howard in 2015.  She claimed that the 47-year-old actor strangled her during a trip to Costa Rica.  Michelle says that Terrence also kicked her and threw her into a bathroom wall during the vacation.

Terrence argued that it was mutual combat.  Many jumped to the conclusion that Terrence paid his way out of this one but according to rumors, that's not true.  Howard's children would have been forced to testify as witnesses and Michelle didn't want that to happen.

Art imitates reality.  Lucious Lyon knows not to put his hands on Cookie, but he doesn't know how to treat her.  There's no doubt that Lucious loves Cookie but they could never be together.  Some people just don't have the right personality to be in a relationship.

Like Lucious, Terrence doesn't have the right personality to be in a relationship.  His current wife, Miranda Pak, recently called him out for acting like Lucious at home:

Geliesha Smith is the New York City correction employee who got busted for moonlighting on Backpage.  Smith made $75,000 a year but that wasn't enough.  Smith worked as an escort and promoted her services on Backpage's adult section.  Like Craigslist, Backpage is a classified advertising website.


Backpage decided to shut down the section after years of intense scrutiny.  There were numerous accusations involving illegal prostitution and human trafficking.  The sad part is that people like Geliesha aka Lisa, find alternatives when websites like Backpage are shut down.

Geliesha got caught after she offered an undercover cop sex for $120.  When you work in the legal industry, you generally understand the serious consequences of illegal activity.  That wasn't the case for Geliesha.  She was working out of a Days Inn in Sunset Park.


We're glad Backpage's adult section no longer exists.  There are still many dark corners of the Internet that must be exposed.  The government is working hard to make the web a safer place and they're making progress.  It's difficult to argue for more privacy when the most trusted members of our society are prostituting over the Internet.

Kodak Black showing his d*** was the topic of conversation during his interview on The Breakfast Club.  Scroll to the video below to hear him discuss everything from smegma to being Haitian.  Kodak Black may have exposed The Breakfast Club.  There's a disconnect between the show's host and hip hop's new school.


Charlamagne Tha God may retire soon.  The radio personality couldn't hid his frustration during the interview.  First, Kodak Black showed up for his interview wearing a ski mask.  Charlamagne called Kodak Black out for his beef with Lil Wayne and the interview went downhill from there.  There were numerous awkward silences throughout the interview.

At one point, Charlamagne revealed that he was just trying to waste time.  There were glimpses of sanity throughout the interview.  Kodak explained that he wanted to work with Master P.  Hopefully Kodak's management team is legit because he said that he doesn't know how to reach out to people like Master P.


Kodak Black is currently one of the most popular rappers in the music industry.  His team shouldn't have any problems getting in touch with Master P.


Kodak didn't want to answer any questions about Lil Wayne but Charlamagne and crew kept bringing Lil Wayne's name up.  Check out the full interview below:

Shanara Mobley, Gloria Williams - Kamiyah Parents

Kamiyah Mobley is the stolen baby who was found after 18 years.  In 1998, she was abducted from a hospital in Florida.  Her mother, Shanara Mobley, was devastated after Kamiyah was taken away from her, hours after she was born.  The woman that stole Kamiyah, posed as a healthcare worker.  The incident occurred on July 10, 1998.


How do you make up for 18 years? Eight hours after Shanara gave birth to Kamiyah, she was gone.  DNA tests revealed that Kamiyah is the baby who was abducted from the hospital.  Authorities arrested a 51-year-old named Gloria Williams in connection to the crime.  We're guessing Gloria was unable to have a baby of her own, leading her to steal Kamiyah.

Williams befriended Shanara, making her believe that she was a nurse at the hospital.  Williams convinced the hospital's staff that she was a member of Shanara's family.  Kamiyah's father, Craig Aiken, was locked up at the time of the incident.  He was in jail for lewd assault because Shanara was only 15-years-old when she conceived her baby while Craig was 19.  Shanara wasn't old enough to legally consent to sex so Aiken was arrested.

Today, hospitals are more secure, reducing the chances for an incident like this to occur again.  While we're happy that the case is solved, how do you make up for all that lost time?

Alexis Manigo - South Carolina, Facebook

Alexis Manigo is the 18-year-old who was kidnapped eight hours after she was born.  In 1998, Gloria Williams suffered a miscarriage.  A week later she drove from Florida to South Carolina where she stole Kamiyah Mobley from the University Medical Center in Jacksonville.  Kamiyah's mother, Shanara Mobley received $1.5 million after suing the hospital.

As a parent, I can tell you first hand that there is no amount of money that you can give me for my children.  A child's presence is priceless.  Kamiyah needs our prayers.  After Gloria, the woman she thought was her mother, was arrested, Kamiyah shared an emotional post on Facebook.

In the Facebook post, Kamiyah defended her "mother's" actions, explaining that she gave her everything she has ever needed.  Kamiyah will need some serious psychological support.  The woman that raised her, like she was her mother, is a criminal who kidnapped her at birth.


This story teaches us to believe in miracles.  Kamiyah's mother thought she would never see her again but then a miracle happened.  It took 18 years and Kamiyah's entire life has been a life but she's alive.  Better late than never.  We're hoping Kamiyah and her biological parents will be able to make up for lost time.

Pictures of Keke Palmer shopping caused Corey Holcomb to flip.  The picture below shows Keke shopping with her ass out.  In the video at the end of this post, Corey calls Palmer for being basic.  A few months ago, Palmer released a video for her song, "Hands Free." The track already has over 4 million views on YouTube.


Prior to releasing "Hands Free" Keke teamed up with Jeremih on the song "Enemiez." Like "Hands Free", "Enemiez" has over 4 million YouTube views.  Palmer is a well-known actress but she's been working on her career as a singer lately.  In 2004, she made her acting debut in Barbershop 2: Back In Business.

In 2007, Palmer released her debut album, So Uncool.  It has always been difficult to witness young entertainers evolve.  Raven-Symoné went from little Olivia on The Cosby Show to That's So Raven to what she has become on The View.  While we love her, let's just say we don't agree with all her theories.


Like Raven, many of us met Keke when she was young.  In 2006, Palmer played Akeelah in Akeelah and the Bee.  It's now difficult to accept the fact that 2006 is long gone.  Keke is now grown and she reminds us each time she goes shopping.  Check out Corey's reaction to her latest outfit in the video below:

Flau'jae is a contestant on season 3 of The Rap Game.  She is the daughter of Jason "Camouflage" Johnson.  Camouflage was a rapper from Savannah, Georgia who was murdered in 2003.  He was 21-years-old when his life was taken.  Flau'jae's mother and manager, Kia Jones, was 4-months pregnant with Flau'jae when Camouflage was murdered.


Like King Roscoe, Flau'jae uses her father's death as inspiration.  Flau'jae's mother explains that she's not new to the game.  Flau'jae is only 12-years-old but she has already toured with Mindless Behavior and The OMG Girlz.  The talented rapper has done over 200 performances.

Jermaine Dupri knows how to find talent.  Dupri's father, Michael Mauldin, played a major role in his life.  Mauldin is currently a Columbia Records executive.  When Jermaine was younger, his father put together a Diana Ross show and Jermaine somehow managed to get on stage, where danced with Ross.  Dupri hasn't looked back since then.

Unlike Jermaine, Flau'jae and King Roscoe didn't have their fathers growing up:


Flau'jae is the youngest contestant on the show.  Her father was signed to Universal Music Group.  On The Rap Game, Kia explains that he had relationships with numerous rappers, including T.I. and Ludacris.

Tally Diss Track? - The Rap Game

Tally's diss track is brought up in episode 1 of The Rap Game's third season.  Scroll to the video at the end of this post to hear her discuss the track.  If you're anything like us you didn't know the Nashville rapper released a diss track.  If you have access to it, let us know in the comment section below.  Tally made the number 1 spot on the Hit List at the end of episode 1.


Jermaine Dupri is proving that he can still make something out of nothing.  He introduced artists like Kris Kross, Da Brat and Bow Wow and now he's using The Rap Game to reinvent his record label, So So Def.  One phrase he may want to stay away from is "reverse racism."

Jermaine explains that Tally is often compared to white rapper, Iggy Azalea.  Tally didn't make the cut on season 2 of The Rap Game because she forgot her lyrics.  There were several black rappers that forgot their lyrics during season 2 of the series.


Why was the one white contestant on the series invited back? If it's the "reverse racism" Dupri mentions in the video above, how about the racism that the black contestants experience on an everyday basis?


Jermaine says that he decided to invite her back because of social media.  In other words, the white contestant on the series is a more savvy social media marketer compared to the other contestants.  She has built a following that spoke out after she was eliminated and Dupri is granting their wishes.

Jennifer Holliday is not transgender.  The Broadway star recently backed out as a performed at Donald Trump's inauguration concert.  The 56-year-old singer apologized to the LGBT community leading many to believe that she is a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.  Holliday is none of the above and has been married twice.


Holliday and her first husband, Billy Meadows, got married in 1991.  Meadows is a singer, keyboardist and songwriter she met in a nightclub.  Meadows was 34-years-old when they met while Holliday was 31.  They got married two months after they met and divorced nine months later.

Like Holliday's initial decision to perform at Trump's inauguration concert, she doesn't always think things through.


After thinking about her decision, she pulled out, explaining that she was unaware that her performance would be interpreted as a show of support for the President-elect.


The United States of America has never been more vulnerable.  Our nation is divided.  We will not be able to make positive accomplishments if we remain divided.


If there's one message most Americans believe it's "United we stand, divided we fall." Donald Trump has quickly become the most hated president of all-time.

Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka has three daughters: Tamina, Liana and Ata.  Tamina was born on January 10, 1978.  Her real name is Sarona Moana-Maria Reiher Snuka-Polamalu.  The three girls also have a brother, James, Jr.  He is best known by his WWE ring name, Deuce aka Sim Snuka.  On Sunday, January 15, 2016, Jimmy Snuka sadly passed away.


Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared the new on Twitter.  Scroll down to see the Twitter post.  The Rock's father, Rocky Johnson, was Snuka's traveling partner.  In 2009, The Rock attended a World Xtreme Wrestling show to support Tamina's wrestling debut.

In the tweet below, The Rock reveals that Tamina asked him to break the news that her father passed away:


It has been a difficult Sunday.  Earlier we reported the death of Bishop Eddie Long.  The pastor died after years of battling cancer.

In 2015, Snuka was charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter.  The charges were from the 1983 death of Snuka's girlfriend, Nancy Argentino.  She was 23-years-old and had cuts and bruises all over her body.  On January 3, 2017, Jimmy was deemed unfit to stand trial.

Like Eddie Long, Snuka died from cancer.  Once a person has cancer, stress will support the growth of the cancer.  The legal battles that Eddie Long and Jimmy Snuka caused stress which most likely supported the growth of their cancer.

YG - Go Fund Me To Perform F*** Donald Trump

Fans created a Go Fund Me account after YG announced that he would perform "F*** Donald Trump" for $4 million at the President-elect's inauguration concert.  Scroll to the Twitter post to see the rapper's offer.  Jennifer Holliday and Andrea Bocelli recently cancelled their performances at the 2017 inauguration concert.


Toby Keith, 3 Doors Down and Lee Greenwood will perform at the concert.  YG is one of the many entertainers who has spoken out against Trump.  Actress, Meryl Streep made headlines for the anti-Trump speech she delivered at the Golden Globes.

The sad truth is that Donald Trump loves the negative attention.  The morning after the Golden Globes, Trump called Streep out for supporting Hillary Clinton and losing.


Trump didn't let Twitter's 140-character limit shorten his message.  Instead, he sent out multiple tweets to tell the actress about herself.  I would love to see a Twitter war between YG and Donald Trump!

The following tweet shows YG's offer to perform at the inauguration concert for $4 million.


This isn't the first time YG has made headlines involving the White House.  A petition was filed to ban his song, "Meet the Flockers." The track appeared on the rapper's 2014 album, My Krazy Life.  In the song, YG advises listeners to find a house in a Chinese neighborhood and burglarize it because they don't believe in bank accounts.

Bill Dowdle is the father of Allie Dowdle.  His daughter is making headlines because of the Go Fund Me account she recently created.  She started the Go Fund Me account after her parents cut her off financially for dating a black man named Michael.  Allie lives in Memphis, TN and has maintained a 4.0 GPA since her freshman year of high school and started the account so she would have enough money for college.


Allie explained that her parents took away her car, personal savings and phone.  If we could understand why people like Bill feel the way they do, the world would be a better place.  More importantly, if more people were as fearless as Allie, the world would be a better place.  Allie is 18-years-old and she's currently a senior in high school.

Allie received financial aid and scholarship money but still needed about $10,000 for her out-of-pocket tuition expenses.  After the first day, Allie's raised the $10,000 she requested and more.  The account recently surpassed $30,000 and the sky is the limit.  Allie's Go Fund Me account proves that we are making progress.

Bill claims that his conflict was never about race.  He says that he had a problem with Allie keeping her relationship with Michael a secret.  They say it takes a village to raise a child.  Allie's village is financially equipped to provide her with anything she needs.

Darnell from First Family of Hip Hop is the future of Sugar Hill Records.  In episode 1 of the show's first season, "The Empire Strikes Back" we meet Darnell Roy, the grandson of Sylvia Robinson.  She is the mastermind behind some of hip hop's most popular songs, including "Rapper's Delight" and "The Message."


Darnell most likely looks familiar.  He appeared on My Super Sweet 16 in 2006.  Juelz Santana, J. Isaac and Rihanna made appearances at his party.  He arrived to his party with Rihanna, atop a camel.  The theme of his party was Coming To America and he received a Mercedes-Benz S550.

In episode 1 we see Darnell argue with his girlfriend, Eseni.  Darnell is working with a new artist, Ayenaomi.  Eseni lives with Darnell and he didn't tell her that Ayenaomi was coming to the house.  Darnell gets very upset after Eseni calls Ayenaomi a b****.


The above tweet explains the problem.  Darnell lives in his father's house, where business comes first.  If Darnell and Eseni lived in a separate house, it would be easier for Darnell to keep his relationship separate from his business life.
