Daniel Gibson Net Worth 2017: How Much Is 'Booby' Worth?

The NBA player turned reality star's $10 million net worth may surprise you.  He never signed a huge NBA contract but he secured his bag by marrying Keyshia Cole.  The singer is currently worth $9.5 million.  In 2014, Daniel and Keyshia sold their home in Ohio to former Cleveland Cavaliers point guard, Kyrie Irving for $800,000.  Kyrie got a great deal.  In 2009, Daniel paid $1.25 million for the property.

2004-2006

Gibson made his debut as a college basketball player in 2004.  He played two seasons at the University of Texas at Austin.  In 2005 he was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year.  In college, many compared him to Derek Fisher because of his ability to score at will.  Gibson averaged 13.8 points and 3.5 assists.

2007-2016

Gibson's NBA career began in 2006 after being drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers with their 42nd pick in the second round.  Gibson joined LeBron James in Cleveland where he helped the team make the playoffs during his rookie season.  The Cavaliers lost to the San Antonio Spurs in the 2006-07 NBA Championship.

In 2008, Gibson had surgery on his ankle.  The Cavs still believed in Daniel's talent, signing him to a 5-year deal worth $21 million one month after the surgery.  Daniel's injuries continued throughout his career.  In 2013, Gibson suffered an elbow injury while working out in the team's weight room.  2013 was Gibson's last year as a professional basketball player.

2017-present

Gibson is now focused on his music career.  He has strong connections to numerous artists, including his ex-bae, Keyshia Cole and his #LHHH side chicks Brooke Valentine and Bridget Kelly.  He recently teamed up with Brooke Valentine on his new track "Nobody Knows." Listen to the song below:
