Rhonda was killed off on Empire earlier this season, but actress Kaitlin Doubleday is moving on to star in CMT's Nashville. Doubleday will join Rachel Bilson, who was also cast as a new addition to the show, but their roles are currently a secret.

On Empire, Doubleday played Andre's wife Rhonda Lyon, who was killed by falling off a building while in a struggle with Anika. Rhonda never quite got to show off any vocal talent she may have — and it's currently unknown if Doubleday's character is a musician, like many of the characters on Nashville. The CMT series is also no stranger to killing off characters, so beware — recently, the series killed off Connie Britton's character Rayna James.
