In her new book, Around The Way Girl, Henson discusses how hard she has had to work over the years. The award-winning actress started from the bottom, moving to Los Angeles with only $700 to her name. Henson also had her baby boy with her, Marcel. When she first got to L.A. she lived in one of the city's most dangerous neighborhoods.
After speaking to a co-worker, she realized that she needed to move to a safer neighborhood. Once she did so, she was able to focus on becoming a star. Two decades later, Taraji has achieved her goals and can't be stopped!
