Empire Return Date: Wednesday, November 2, 2016 if the World Series is not 7 games. If a World Series Game 7 is necessary the episode will be preempted. When a television show is preempted it airs the next day or after the program that took its time slot. On Wednesday, November 2 tune in to Fox at 9 PM. If there is a Game 7 the network will advise viewers when the show will air.
