Many directors refuse to give new talent an opportunity because of the extra time that is required. That's not the case with Lee Daniels. The award-winning producer creates some of his best work with unknown actors. Bryshere isn't the only cast member who lacked acting experience. Trai Byers, Grace Gealey and Kaitlin Doubleday were also unknown actors who wouldn't have landed their roles if it wasn't for Daniels.
